The European Commission (Commission) has streamlined its procurement procedures through framework contracts (FWC) to increase flexibility in the provision of short-term Technical Assistance (TA). The changes aim to support and advise the Commission services (Headquarters and EU Delegations) and/or Partner Countries/Organisations along the entire cycle of operations (from design to implementation and evaluation of EU interventions).
Frankfurt School is a consortium partner responding to the specific FWC for the Services for Implementation of External Aid (SIEA), EuropeAid – the Commission´s directorate-general for international cooperation and development (DG DEVCO). Lot 1 of the FWC covers Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Resilience.
The assignments can cover any stage of the project cycle (analytical studies, evaluation of offers, evaluations, technical inputs or capacity building) and can be in any of the technical areas of Lot 1, including the provision of economic, financial, technical and legal expertise for the following areas:
