Students who embark on the EMBA journey achieve such transformation by deepening their subject matter knowledge across the discipline of management. Learning Goals
Graduates have an integrated understanding and strategic perspective of a senior executive or entrepreneur who administrates business and leads people in the 21st century. Graduates possess an acute perception of contemporary management challenges and provide thought leadership. They draw upon sound functional and cross-functional knowledge of management concepts and disciplines and develop innovative solutions that work in the real world.
Graduates combine independent, forward-oriented thinking with business acumen, executive-level management techniques and quality decision-making to address business challenges and implement effective solutions. Based on sound qualitative and quantitative research and rigorous analysis, they are able to identify opportunities, ideate innovative solutions and implement them effectively and efficiently.
Graduates master concise and effective spoken and written communication based on emotional intelligence and intercultural sensitivity. They present, discuss and defend fact-based arguments that convince their audience, move people to congruent action and achieve positive change when necessary. As both leaders and members of teams, they set high standards, establish trust and create an environment of collaboration and cooperation that inspires high performance.
Graduates are self-aware and mindful leaders with the character needed for leading in any organisational or cultural context and in the global environment. They decide and act based on ethical considerations, comply with regulatory requirements and enhance the well-being of their stakeholders, organisations, society and the environment.

Included in the tuition fee are all study materials, textbooks and coffee breaks. Furthermore, two elective courses are included. Extracurricular Activities
In addition, extracurricular workshops or activities are available throughout the programme (mostly on Friday mornings before the classes start).The workshops focus on teaching you a broad range of executive skills such as leading intercultural teams, and executive presence (body language, voice, public speaking etc). We also offer a bespoke "Women's Leadership Academy" exclusively for our female EMBAs and alumna.

Accounting
The optional Principles of Finance & Accounting module is aimed at students who do not have prior experience of business administration or who feel they need a refresher course.
It provides course participants with the knowledge they need to address the upcoming Finance & Accounting modules and includes the principles of capital budgeting, the basic knowledge required to assess companies’ financial situations, and the basic principles of financial reporting in conformance with national and international standards.

Quantitative Methods (Online)
Quantitative Methods is an introduction to using statistical methods to solve business problems. The course teaches statistics from the management perspective and places special emphasis on developing the skills and instincts needed to make good decisions and become a more effective manager.

Connect with your Executive MBA classmates during an activity-packed team-building weekend. Start developing many of the key skills you will employ throughout the programme, including teamwork, communication and time management.

The module is based on the understanding that any successful executive in the 21st century will likely have to be an entrepreneurial general manager: a hybrid person who combines strategic rigor, takes sound decisions and pushes to create and exploit (new) opportunities.

The module asks students to take a bird’s eye view of the external environment of firms. Focus will be on the global economic and technological macro-context and its influence on business opportunities and the role of politics, society and regulators
Competitive Strategy & Sustainability
Students focus on building a science-based intellectual toolkit for mapping and implementing different scenarios. Special homage is paid to the opportunities and challenges associated with the megatrend sustainability. The module also highlights the imperative of finding and securing customers, and to translating marketing actions into top-line revenues.
Entrepreneurial Action

What makes a great leader? Charisma? Integrity? Power? Vision? The ability to transform? And how can a great leader truly succeed and do so in a responsible way? This modules explores different leadership concepts and invites students to experiment with their own leadership styles. It provides the conceptual and experiential framework for developing the key competences and the top-level mindset needed to successfully navigate oneself and others through a world that is constantly changing.
Innovation Management
To stay ahead in the competitive game in a fastpaced, ever-changing environment, managers and their organisations must permanently review, renew or reinvent both their external competitive offerings and their internal workings. Accordingly, this module covers both: how do companies innovate their products and services to stay relevant in their markets and how do leaders and companies change to stay relevant as humans and organisations?

Applied Digital Transformation
The course is positioned at the intersection of technology, information and people. It builds on the foundations of and reinforces the knowledge, skills and capabilities developed in the Digital Society module. Applied Digital Transformation dives into all topics of crafting and implementing a digital transformation strategy in companies, particularly about understanding the latest trends in emerging technologies, analysing and modelling business processes with a 'digital eye', identifying opportunities, crafting and implementing solutions, and developing people, organisations, and business along the way.
Building Hidden Champions
The course builds on the foundations of the prior EMBA core modules. It introduces participants to selected challenges that Managing Directors of SME and family businesses are likely to face throughout their careers. Drawing on academic research and practical insights, this module equips Managing Directors with a set of general management tools that allows an easier transition into and success in the context of an already existing structure.
Finance for Growth (incl. M&A)
This module builds on the foundations of the EMBA core module, Finance & Accounting. Drawing on academic research and practical insights, it helps prepare managers for future executive roles by providing an overview of more advanced issues and challenges in the realm of financial management. Critically, the module takes the strategic perspective of a general manager and not the operational perspective of a functional specialist. Accordingly, at the end of the course, participants have the necessary knowledge, skills and capabilities to effectively interact with their CFO and finance function at eye level. Participants can also actively participate in making informed and knowledgeable financial decisions.
New Venture Creation
Meet managers, academics and MBA students from Israel, broaden your intercultural skills through local exposure and benefit from Frankfurt School’s international links with another top-ranked business school.
The course will begin where the Entrepreneurship module ended and helped you further build your entrepreneurial mindset and skillset. It draws on academic research and practical insights to accelerate you into the 'entrepreneurial space', from ideation of business model development and MVP conception to possible financing. Accordingly, at the end of the course, participants will have a sound conceptual understanding of the entrepreneurial process, initial experience with the key tools and techniques, and a preliminary business plan, which can quickly be realised.

Negotiations

Consultancy Project
A Consulting Project is performed by a group of students working in consultation with their supervisor and a project leader of a relevant external company or organisation on an agreed strategy or management problem. It is expected that the Group Consulting Project results in practical, implementable recommendations for the organisation providing the project.
Entrepreneurial Business Plan
An Entrepeneurial Buisness Plan is a comprehensive business plan for the establishment and start-up phase of a new enterprise/ initiative, according to a set format, developed by a team of Executive MBA students.
Research Project
A Research Project is a study of a practical business problem, preferably in conjunction with an external company or organisation, completed in teams or individually.
Personal Leadership Coaching
Personalised leadership coaching is an integral component of the EMBA, sharpening leadership and management skills and helping participants to become aware of and consciously modify their individual management styles. The coaching module takes place throughout the entire EMBA programme. Starting with a team-building weekend at the beginning of the course, participants continue to receive regular advice and support from their personal coaches.
Based on an analysis of your skills and potential, we draw up an action plan with personal development goals that you can implement at work. Your personal coach then continues to provide you with advice through to the final implementation coaching session, during which you reflect on your achievements and are given recommendations that will help you with your future career planning. The coaching module also comprises group training courses that help you enhance your personal strengths while building a clear awareness of areas still in need of further development.
