Since starting our international advisory business in 1992, we have successfully designed, managed, and implemented over 1,000 development finance projects in more than 100 countries all over the globe. Currently a team of over 90 people manages more than 150 projects worldwide.

Southeast and Southern Asia

We have extensive and relevant track record in the Asian banking and financial sectors. Hence we are familiar with the regional conditions and have a vast network of local partner companies and experts.

Recently implemented and still on-going projects have taken us to Mongolia, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia,  Philippines and China.

Caucasus region

IAS has extensive experience in the Caucasus region, as well as in Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

Those are the largest regions in terms of activity for us, with on-going projects in the following countries: Georgia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Africa

We have a strong track record in implementing and managing development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa in particular. 

Currently we have on-going projects in DR Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia among others.

MENA

Recently implemented and still on-going projects have taken us to Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia and West Bank Gaza.

We provide technical assistance in the fields of training, marketing strategy, and institutional strengthening in rural financing. We also conduct market research, due diligence, feasibility studies, assessments, evaluations, and other types of studies in all finance- and MSME-related areas.

Agricultural Loan Evaluation System (ALES)

We have developed an innovative and comprehensive risk assessment model called - Agricultural Loan Evaluation System (ALES). The tool strengthens the agricultural lending capacity of financial institutions in developing countries and establishes the necessary link between farmers and financial institutions.

The ALES scoring system can be easily integrated into any financial institution’s agricultural lending policies and procedures.

EaSI Technical Assistance to the European Microcredit Sector

EaSI Technical Assistance supports microcredit enterprises and social entrepreneurs to boost job creation in Europe. The project is under the direct management of the European Commission - Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is leading the Consortium with the Microfinance Centre and the European Microfinance Network to implement the training and dissemination of best practice services under EaSI Technical Assistance.
