This Project supports EBRD’s goal to build more robust and sustainable banks and non-financial institutions (insurance companies and asset managers) in its 38 countries of operations. To achieve this goal, EBRD has selected Frankfurt School to facilitate the educational advancement of key personnel and build their capacity among its bank and non-bank financial institution clients on the subjects of: asset and liability management; derivatives and capital markets; risk management; fixed income and banking regulation.
Frankfurt School is carrying out the Project through the following three work packages, which are also illustrated in the figure below:
To date, Frankfurt School has delivered seven training seminars in five countries, covering various topics such as asset liability management, derivatives, risk management, money markets and money market products, interest rates and interest rate derivative products and financial derivatives in the capital market. More than 150 participants attended the seminars.
