The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has selected Frankfurt School as training provider to organise and implement management trainings at the prestigious Joint Vienna Institute (JVI).
Leading multilateral international organisations such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, EBRD and European Investment Bank created the JVI to implement trainings for their staff and partners as a hub for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia and MENA regions.
The assignment as training provider for the EBRD JVI trainings includes the design, preparation and delivery of four week-long seminars per year for senior managers from EBRD`s partner institutions on topics selected by EBRD.
Since Frankfurt School has taken over the mandate as the training provider for EBRD in 2016, our Senior Training experts have successfully trained more than 350 managers and senior managers in 18 training seminars addressing soft and hard skills.
Participants come from over 30 countries in the MENA, Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia regions. They are representatives from EBRD’s client and support institutions, such as partner banks, trade facilitation institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), municipalities, and other governmental institutions.
To date, Frankfurt School has delivered the following training seminars:
All trainings have two interlinked components: technical skills and “soft” managerial skills. Both components are illustrated through the use of examples and exercises that force particitpants to combine both skills to achieve maximum learning impact.
In response to the extraordinary circumstances related to the corona virus pandemic and consequent travel ban, our team has designed a new online format for the trainings delivered in 2020 those planned for 2021.
