In 2002, the African Union was established as a Pan African continental body charged with spearheading Africa´s rapid integration and sustainable development in accordance with the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
To reach this goal, the Secretariat of the African Union, the African Union Commission (AUC) plays a central role in the day-to-day management of the African Union and its 55 member states, which requires efficient and effective personnel.
The objective of this Project is the implementation of the AUC Learning and Development Strategy, which comprises a wide range of trainings for its staff members to work towards Agenda 2063.
Frankfurt School’s trainer team is coordinating with the AUC`s Learning and Development Unit to design and implement a balanced training programme for staff at the AUC, African Union and regional offices as outlined below:
The Project envisions 47 training courses with nearly 1,000 participants across the 12 training modules to meet the dynamic pace at which the African Union is evolving and to develop the skills and knowledge of the African Union staff.
