Our Degree Programmes department requires a:

Foundation Programme Manager (f/m/x)

Your responsibilities:
  • Development and Implementation of Foundation curriculum in cooperation with teaching staff
  • Coordinate and, where necessary, source new teaching staff
  • Ensure programme meets internal and external academic quality management standards
  • Supervise examination process to ensure graduates are eligible for study at Frankfurt School
  • Coordinate with Study Advisory to Supervision of study experience and on-campus welfare of students
  • Support admissions process with Bachelor Admissions team and interview potential candidates
  • Handle detailed programme enquiries and support marketing and recruitment efforts in cooperation with Marketing & Recruitment team
  • Manage external relations with relevant stakeholders, including for example local government, embassies, partner schools
Requirments

This position is responsible for a unique programme within the Frankfurt School portfolio and forms part of the Degree Programmes division-supplying students for further study at Bachelor level. The manager of this programme will be required to interact with a wide range of contacts across Frankfurt School to ensure that the Foundation students have a smooth study experience, high quality education and are able to excel in their further studies and careers.  As such, the successful candidate will need to be able to act independently and responsibly to ensure students are well catered for.

  • Experience working within a high school or further education environment, administrating academic programmes
  • Understanding of educational needs for entry to German higher education
  • Fluency in English and experience working with international students
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • An understanding of the framework and curriculum needs in the German Studienkolleg system
  • Ideally experienced in coaching and mentoring young adults in during their studies
  • Experience managing a programme budget
