External lecturer for the module „Foundations of Economics" for the Foundation Year

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Foundations of Economics lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing course materials for the Foundation Year students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach a beginner-level Foundations of Economics course
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans and assessments (quizzes, case studies, presentations, group discussions)
• Ensure that course materials and instruction align with departmental goals and objectives
• Provide individualized attention and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in economics or a related field
• 2+ years of teaching experience, preferably at a high school and/or undergraduate level
• Proficiency in English at a native or near-native level
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence

Time Period:

• September 2024 – June 2025
• 4 teaching units per week (1 teaching unit = 45 minutes)
