Starting January 1, 2019, Angelika Werner, 51, is the new Vice President Strategic Relations at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. In her role, she is responsible for the divisions Corporate Communications, Fundraising, Alumni Management as well as Career Services.

Angelika Werner first joined Frankfurt School in 2001, where she established and led Corporate Communications, Alumni Management and Fundraising.

In 2016, she joined the communications consultancy Genius in Darmstadt as Senior Consultant and Head of Public Relations and Press.

“Frankfurt School wants to position itself among the top Business Schools in Europe. Bringing this strategy to life for the sake of students, alumni, friends and suppporters, is an exiting task. I am looking forward to approaching it together with new and old colleagues“, Angelika Werner explains.

Angelika Werner studied English/American Literature and Politics in Konstanz and at the University of Sussex. She graduated from the Programme for Management Development (PMD) at IESE Business School, and the Women‘s Leadership Forum at Harvard Business School. She started her career in Corporate Communications at the IT service provider EDS. In 2001, she joined Frankfurt School. She was honoured by PR Magazin and Media Tenor for her success in national and international Media Relations. Her Corporate Publishing was awarded internationally with the Circle of Excellence Award in Bronze of CASE (Council for Advancement & Support of Education). From 2016 to 2018, she served as Senior Consultant at the communications consultancy Genius. On January 1, 2019 she joined Frankfurt School as new Vice President Strategic Relations.
