Frankfurt am Main, 18.05.2018 12:00:00

From March 11 to 12, 2018, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted the first Business Game at a German business school. Nearly 100 participants from 30 universities within and outside Europe came to Frankfurt for the competition. In randomly paired teams of four participants, the students worked on three different case studies. E.ON, Commerzbank and BearingPoint provided the cases. After each case study, the teams were reshuffled again by an app. Furthermore, the students had to solve challenges in one-hour-workshops presented by Accenture and Anheuser Busch InBev.

Frankfurt School Business Game, a student initiative of the business school, organised the competition. “Through the Business Game we become part of a international network of universities and business schools. Also, the competition is a great opportunity for the students to apply the theoretical knowledge they have gained during their studies”, explained Giulia Erichsen, Co-Head of the student initiative as well as Master of Finance student at Frankfurt School. In order to have participants with diverse academic backgrounds not only business students but prospective physicists, biochemists and literary scholars took part in the business game
