The prestigious Global Employability University Ranking (GEURS) 2026 confirms Frankfurt School of Finance & Management’s strong position in the international job market: The business school ranks 73rd worldwide, improving its position by four places compared to last year. Among the 19 German universities in the ranking, Frankfurt School ranks 7th – and remains the only German business school in the ranking.

The internationally renowned GEURS ranking has been published annually since 2010 and evaluates the top 250 universities worldwide from the perspective of employers. The ranking outcome is based on a survey completed by HR managers. In this edition, 12,350 HR managers across 32 countries were asked to select, from a list of 1,000 universities worldwide, the institutions whose graduates are best equipped to begin their careers and tackle future challenges. Assessments are further justified based on seven ‘employability drivers’: work expertise, graduate skills, specialisation, social impact and leadership, academic performance, internationality and reputation. A total of 119,967 votes were included in the assessment.

“We are very pleased with our excellent results in the GEURS ranking – especially as the ranking considers a perspective that is particularly important for business school graduates, the employer’s perspective. We are proud to be recognised as the best business school in Germany in this regard,” said Professor Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. “The result shows that, during their Frankfurt School journey, our graduates acquire exactly the skills that are in demand on the job market and convince employers worldwide.”

The GEURS ranking shows that professional skills and practical work experience remain key factors for employers, but expectations are rising. The internationality of applicants continues to gain importance and reflects the demand for graduates with a global mindset. Academic performance remains relevant but is no longer sufficient on its own. Social engagement and leadership skills are becoming increasingly important for employers.

The GEURS ranking is considered one of the most important university rankings for HR managers worldwide. The full results of the 2026 ranking can be found here.
