The annual Frankfurt School Career Days — the most important career fair in the Rhine-Main region for highly qualified graduates — attracted around 2,000 students on campus and 1,000 participants online on 5 and 6 November. Almost 500 representatives from 96 selected companies took the opportunity to get to know the students on both days.
The companies represented covered a wide range of industries, from the financial and property sector to consulting and pharmaceutical companies to retail and consumer brands. These included global players such as Accenture and UBS as well as large family-run companies such as the Schwarz Group and Metzler.
This year, the concept was expanded to include a new format: seven exclusive workshops followed by a ‘Career Breakfast’. More than 500 students registered for this event. Students and company representatives were able to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. The new module offered the participating students important insights into the industry and provided valuable networking opportunities. The workshops were organised by Baker Tilly, Barclays, Citibank, Commerzbank, Deutsche Börse, Dr Oetker and Goldman Sachs.
In addition to the on-site event on the Frankfurt School campus, the virtual Career Day offered a total of 913 online sessions in which around 1000 students took part. Students and alumni were also able to search for job vacancies via the virtual platform and apply directly. Recruiters contacted students they were interested in via a chat.
The Career Services team supported both the on-site event and the virtual fair and was always available to answer students' questions.
