FT Master of Finance

Frankfurt School's Master of Finance programme (MSc) has been included in the Financial Times (FT) “FT Masters in Finance (Pre)” ranking for the tenth time, placing 27th in the current ranking. FS is moving up four places from the previous year, placing back in the global top 30.

Frankfurt School has particularly improved in the Aims achieved category, which compares the extent to which alumni have achieved their goals with their Master's degree in percentage terms: in 2022 FS is in 18th place (2021: 23rd place). In the Salary today category, which measures the average alumni income three years after graduation, the Business School was able to hold its good position and is ranked 15th. This is the category with the highest weighting in the ranking, at 20 percent. Also, FS strengthened its positions in the International students and the Work international mobility categories, which compare the students' diversity in terms of citizenship as well as the opportunities for graduates on the international job market. The number of international students in the Master of Finance is 59 percent, placing Frankfurt School 33rd in the ranking (2021: 45th). In the International mobility category, FS is in 29th place (2021: 35th place).

The FT ranking is published annually and evaluates, among other things, career opportunities, diversity and the international orientation of research and teaching. The ranking, in which business schools from all over the world participate, is primarily based on information provided by graduates who completed a Master of Finance programme three years ago.

Largest FS Master's programme

The Master of Finance was the first master’s programme at Frankfurt School and is still its largest. The Master of Finance is a member of the CFA® University Affiliation Programme, an academic partner of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and, since 2018, a partner of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association® (CAIA).
