Frankfurt am Main, 04.04.2022 12:00:00

Dear FS Community,

Here you find current corona information. Please continue to act in a way that does not expose ourselves and others to risk of infection.

  • Students, participants, and guests must conform to current legal requirements when on campus. Here you can find the regulations for Hesse.
  • We recommend wearing mouth-nose protection in all public areas of the campus. In this way, we can minimise the risk of infection. Please also follow general hygiene rules.
  • The testing station on the FS campus is open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 to 16:00. If required, rapid tests can be administered and official certificates issued here.
  • Our students and participants of the Executive Education courses can choose between online and in-person attendance.
  • For questions about the Coronavirus at FS please use the central email address communitylife@fs.de.
  • We have set up a hotline for students. Students can find the number online in the "Study Guide".
These FAQs are continuously updated. Last update: 4 April 2022

What happens if a member of the FS Community is infected with Corona?

As soon as Frankfurt School knows of a confirmed infection, this information will be passed on to all students and employees.

With the help of the Corona Tracer, which all students and employees carry, those who have been in close contact with the infected person can be identified. These contact persons will be informed personally to discuss measures such as quarantine or a precautionary corona test.

On the instructions of the public health department, infected persons remain anonymous. Their personal rights are protected.

Students

How are the academic programmes running?

We offer the elective model to our students, where they can choose whether to attend classes from campus or online.

Please continue to act in a way that does not expose ourselves and others to risk of infection. We recommend wearing medical masks (surgical masks or protective masks of the standards FFP2, KN95, N95, or comparable) in all public and especially in crowded areas of the campus.

What should students do if they think they are infected?

Students who believe they have been infected should contact their family doctor or the medical on-call service by phone at the Germany-wide number 116117. The Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs has set up a hotline for questions about the coronavirus: 0800 5554666. It is available every day from 08:00 to 20:00; the staff on this hotline speak German and English.

Please also inform Frankfurt School at communitylife@fs.de if you are not able to participate in courses due to illness. Together we will find solutions so the success of your degree will not be compromised.

How are the part-time education programmes running?

We offer our Bankfachwirt, Betriebswirt and Management courses all over Germany, in all federal states. There are both face-to-face and online groups. If you have any questions, please send an email to dreiklang@fs.de.

Should students take advantage of semesters and internships abroad?

The pandemic has different effects in different countries. Special entry requirements must also be observed. Students should contact the Frankfurt School's International Office.

Will Assessment Centres for applicants still take place?

Assessment Centres for Bachelor, Master and MBA applicants will be carried out online. The admissions teams will contact applicants to set up dates. They will also share technical requirements. In the case that applicants are unable to provide required test scores (GMAT, Toefl, IELTS) alternative arrangements are being made. For any questions, please contact the respective team: bachelor@fs.de, masters@fs.de or mba@fs.de.
