Frankfurt, 27.02.2020 12:00:00

On Monday, February 3, 2020, over 190 students from Frankfurt School’s pre-experience Master programmes, including the Master of Finance, Master in Management, and Master in Applied Data Science, participated in the “Semester Opening Event at the ECB” – a higher number of interested students than ever before!

While the students were given the unique opportunity to visit this prestigious institution, the European Central Bank, Gabriel Glöckler, ECB Principal Adviser, Directorate General Communications, provided them with a comprehensive overview of the ECB’s fields of activities. Under the title “Challenges 2020: ECB Policy Under New Leadership”, he gave them profound and topical insights on the key themes which will affect the ECB’s work in the months and years to come.

A subsequent get-together allowed the students from the different study programmes to network.

“It is a great opportunity for our students to visit this important European institution and to learn about the ECB´s mandate and challenges” says Dr. Julia Knobbe, Director Pre-Experience Master Programmes at FS.
