Sustainable Finance - Classroom Training

This course delves into the critical aspects of sustainable finance and climate risk management. It begins with an introduction to climate and nature-related scientific evidence, followed by an examination of transition finance strategies to support the shift to a low-carbon economy. Participants will master techniques for accurate carbon accounting and effective carbon mitigation strategies. Key components include impact management and impact investing, with a focus on measuring and maximizing positive social and environmental impacts. The course also covers change management strategies for implementing sustainable finance practices in financial institutions. Reporting perspectives through the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and EFRS are discussed. The course concludes with a discussion on greenwashing and ESG litigation, emphasizing the identification and avoidance of bad practices in sustainable finance. To enhance learning and professional connections, a networking event is included, allowing participants to connect with industry experts and peers.
