Impact Investing - Classroom Training

This course offers a comprehensive exploration of impact finance. It begins with an introduction to climate and nature-related scientific evidence, setting the stage for understanding the broader context. Participants will delve into transition finance strategies that support the shift to a low-carbon economy. They will learn accurate carbon accounting methods and effective carbon mitigation strategies, essential for driving meaningful change. A significant portion of the course is dedicated to impact management and impact investing, focusing on techniques to measure and maximize positive social and environmental impacts. The course also covers change management strategies to implement sustainable finance practices within financial institutions. Reporting perspectives through the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and EFRS are discussed to ensure compliance and transparency. To round off the learning experience, the course addresses greenwashing and ESG litigation, highlighting how to identify and avoid bad practices in impact finance. Additionally, a networking event is included, providing participants with the opportunity to connect with industry experts and peers, further enhancing their professional growth and connections.
