Frankfurt am Main, 12.11.2025 12:00:00

This year, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – with the generous support of numerous donors – is awarding 465 scholarships to its students. Bachelor's and Master's students received their certificates at the traditional Scholarship Award Ceremony on November 6 in the Audimax. Angelika Werner, Vice President Strategic Relations at Frankfurt School, hosted the evening.

The first scholarship—the President's Scholarship—was presented by Karolina Kristic, Chancellor and CFO of Frankfurt School. Gerd Häusler, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Scope Foundation, then awarded the Germany Scholarships on behalf of the many generous donors.

Scholarships for new master's programmes

During a panel discussion on the new master's programmes at Frankfurt School—the Master in Real Estate and the Master in Financial Technology—three donors and one scholarship recipient shared their motivation: Antonia Dellert, Master in Real Estate student and Momeni scholarship recipient, Frank Fusenig, partner at proresult management consultancy, Sascha Klaus, Frankfurt School alumnus and member of the board of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, and Antonio Novillo Suarez, Chief Information and Chief Operating Officer of the WM Group.

Moderated by Fatma Dirkes, Vice President of Executive & Professional Education at Frankfurt School, further scholarship categories were then awarded. The first were the Diversity Scholarships, which were presented on behalf of the numerous donors by Agnes Bierbaum, Senior Manager Recruiting & Employer Branding, and Dr. Peer Günzel, Managing Director Infrastructure & Supply at Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing. Christoph Kauter, Managing Partner at Beyond Capital Partners, awarded the Woman in M&A Scholarships, which were donated by his company for the first time.

Alumni engagement

Following the award ceremony for the prestigious Klaus Peter Müller Scholarships, Frankfurt School alumni discussed their motivation for supporting their alma mater in a second panel discussion: Oliver Bader, Managing Director and Strategic & Regulatory Execution Lead, Bank of New York Mellon; Lena Fessler, Head of Strategy & Business Management Real Estate & Project Finance, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, and Member of the Board, Frankfurt School Alumni e.V.; Inga Konrad, Executive Director HNWI St. Gallen, UBS; and Carsten Schmitt, CFO, Commerzbank.

This was followed by the awarding of DAAD scholarships by Anne Gersfeld, Erasmus Coordinator at Frankfurt School, the presentation of the FIRM scholarships by Dr. Carsten Lehr, Managing Director of the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM), and the awarding of the ARDIAN Scholarship. The event concluded with the Frankfurt School Scholarships, presented by Vera Hübner, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at Frankfurt School.

On behalf of all students, Germany Scholarship recipient Yousef Salih thanked the donors: “Your generosity doesn’t just fund education; it creates opportunity. And I sincerely hope that one day, we can emulate what you’ve done — to give back and create opportunities for others, just like you did for us.
