On Friday, May 10, 2019, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management thanked its student leaders at the newly established president’s reception. With the event the business school wants to draw attention and say thank you to students, who strengthen the FS community by representing Frankfurt School at fairs and competitions, organising student activities, helping fellow students and bringing in new ideas.

The event started with a team challenge where the students built their own vehicles for a soap box derby. Afterwards Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz, President of Frankfurt School, welcomed everyone to the reception. “As an outstanding part of the FS community, you have shown tremendous engagement and commitment. This is something we do not take for granted and with this event we want to say thank you! At Frankfurt School we care about each other and also for the people beyond our community. This is why it is important to have students like you, students who are giving back”, he pointed out.

Professor Dr Jörg Werner, Vice President Degree Programmes, presented the FS Spirit Award. For the third time, Frankfurt School awards two students who made an extraordinary contribution to Frankfurt School’s Student Life with a spot on the big Donor Wall in the foyer of the campus. “This year’s winners, Jaskaran Singh and Antonio Gutiérrez, are true FS role models. Thank you for your time, commitment and dedication. We appreciate all your hard work and enthusiasm for our business school”, Jörg Werner explained.
