The Frankfurt School of Finance and Management is a leading private business school with the following four main pillars of activities: (1) academia (research and degree programs –bachelor’s, master’s, MBA, doctoral); (2) professional and executive education; (3) banking institute programs and (4) international advisory services, providing education, training, policy advice and technical assistance to developing and emerging countries worldwide. Within in pillar (4) the School is hosting a Business Development Unit (BDU). BDU works on international tender (e.g. EU, EIB, EBRD and KFW) in close cooperation with project implementation teams (competence centers) in Frankfurt and in our Regional offices.

For our Business Development Unit based in Frankfurt we are hiring a Manager Business Development Unit and Coordinator Business Development (all genders).

Applicants must have:
  • Sound knowledge in finance and banking terminology and, as well as in EU project cycle and PRAG rules;
  • Proven experience in writing project proposals and framework contracts, recruiting processes (incl. finding & contracting experts) for tender preparation for technical assistance projects funded by international donor organizations;
  • Experienced to establishing and coordinating consortiums with local and international institutions in line with the specific project conditions;
  • Social Media affinity combined with programming skills in a programming language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in English (main working language is English); Knowledge of French or Spanish would be an asset.
  • Position mainly based in Frankfurt, willingness to travel to developing countries on a case-by case basis
